Over the years, Nikki has embraced the role of advocate in countless ways. From serving as a Department of Planning Storyteller Ambassador to contributing as a member of subgroups for GBRICS, Baltimore City Police Department's CPIC Training and Implementation Subcommittee, and The Advisory Stakeholder Group on Autism-Related Needs for Maryland, her impact has been felt far and wide.

Most recently, she joined the Mayor's Commission on Disabilities for Baltimore City, further extending her dedication to creating a more accessible and equitable world.

In her role as Resource Coordinator for Pathfinders for Autism in 2022, Nikki fielded over 1,200 calls from individuals seeking critical resources for their loved ones. This tireless commitment to supporting others informs her work as an artist, an advocate, and a change maker.

Nikki’s creative mission is clear: to stand as a voice for underrepresented communities, champion inclusion, and empower populations often isolated due to their diagnoses or roles as caregivers. As the mother of an autistic son, she has not only navigated medical and educational systems on his behalf but has also contributed to training initiatives and volunteered as a community advocate.
